INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Adhesive (WP 0782 00, Item 4) Gasket (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s WP 0633 00 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen clamp (1). Remove hose (2) with hose (3) and clamp (1) from heater intake. 2. Loosen clamp (4) on exhaust pipe (5). 3. Remove heater from carrier (WP 0633 00). 4. Loosen clamp (6). Remove hose (2) and clamp (6) from intake elbow (7). 5. Loosen clamp (8). Remove exhaust pipe (5) and clamp (8) from exhaust elbow (9). 6. Remove six screws (10), intake elbow (7), exhaust elbow (9), and two gaskets (11) from carrier top deck. Discard gaskets. 0634 00-1
