INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Tie strap (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Power-Generation Equipment Repairer 52D10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) All external power disconnected (TM 11-7010-256- 12&P) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Release catch (1) and open cover (2) on power supply storage box (3). 2. Disconnect cable W251 plug P1 (4), cable W42 plug P1 (5), and cable W43 plug P1 (6) from UPS (7). Remove cables from opening (8) in back of power supply storage box (3). 3. Remove six tie straps (9) from cables (10). Discard tie straps. 4. Disconnect cable W251 plug P2 (11) from UPS power extension box A18 jack J6 (12). 5. Disconnect cable W42 plug P2 (13) from DC power extension box A8 jack J21 (14). 6. Disconnect cable W43 plug P2 (15) from AC power extension box A7 jack J6 (16). 7. Remove cables W251 (17), W42 (18), and W43 (19) from carrier. 0753 00-1
