INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s Digital Multimeter (WP 0780 00, Item 43) Electrical Repair Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 80) General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (10) Lockwasher (1) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Power-Generation Equipment Repairer 52D10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) All external power disconnected (TM 11-7010-256- 12&P) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect cable W6 plug (1) from power control box A1 jack J26 (2). 2. Remove faceplate (3) on inverter housing A2 (4) by removing ten screws (5) and lockwashers (6). Discard lockwashers. 3. Disconnect harness W6 terminal E2 (7) from terminal block TB1 (8) on inverter housing faceplate (3). NOTE Ground post is located on hull wall between power control box A1 and driver’s station. 4. Disconnect harness W6 terminal E1 (9) from ground post G3 (10). Remove screw (11) and lockwasher (12). Discard lockwasher. 5. Remove harness from carrier. 0742 00-1
