INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Tie strap (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Power-Generation Equipment Repairer 52D10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) All external power disconnected (TM 11-7010-256- 12&P) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect W3 cable plug P3 (1) from jack J24 (2) on power control enclosure A1 (3). 2. Remove four screws (4) and clamps (5) from hull weldnut. Remove clamps (5) from harness W3. 3. Cut six tie straps (6). Discard tie straps. 4. Disconnect W3 cable plug P1 (7) from jack J1 (8) on power distribution box A3 (9). 5. Remove cable W3 (7) from carrier. 0739 00-1
