TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR GLOW PLUG CABLE ASSEMBLIES (M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0714 00 1. Disconnect interior cable (1) from jack 1J6 (2) on back of control panel (3). NOTE T here are seven clamps t hat b olt interior cable to h ul l. O n e i s u sed on th e ri gh t s id e o f carrier and six on the left. All are removed the same way. Only one clamp is shown. Remove as required. 2. Remove six screws (1), lockwashers (2), clamps (3), and interior cable (4) from left side of hull. Discard lockwashers. NOTE There are two exterior cables, access plates, and smoke generators, left and right. Cables are re m o v e d f rom carrier the same way. O nly one exterior cable, access p late, and smoke generator is shown. Remove cables as required. 3. Disconnect exterior cable (5) from interior cable (4) in left access plate (6). 4. Disconnect exterior cable (5) from preheat harness jack (7) on panel (8) of left smoke generator (9). 5 . Rem ove screw ( 1), lo ckwasher (2), clamp (3), and i nterior cable (4 ) from rig ht sid e o f hull. D iscard l ockw asher. 6. Disconnect exterior cable (5) from interior cable (4) in right access plate (6). 7. Disconnect exterior cable (5) from preheat harness jack (7) on panel (8) of right smoke generator (9). 8. Remove four screws (10), locknuts (11), and interior cable (4) from right access plate (6). Discard locknuts. 0714 00-2 9. Rem ove four screws (10), l ocknuts (11), and i nterior cable (4) from left access pla te (6). Discard locknuts.
