TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR ADAPTER ACCESS PLATE AND GASKET (M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0708 00 NOTE Left and right access plates and gasket are replaced the same way. 1. Disconnect air hose (13) and fog oil hose (14) from two elbows (1). 2. Disconnect electrical cable assembly (12) from adapter access plate fitting (7). 3. Remove four screws (10), lockwashers (11), and adapter access plate (2) from hull. Discard lockwashers. 4. Disconnect exterior cable (15) from interior cable (18) at adapter access plate (2). 5. Remove four screws (16), locknuts (17), and interior cable (18) from adapter access plate (2). Discard locknuts. 6. Remove dust cover (6) four screws (8), locknuts (9), and adapter access plate fitting (7) from adapter access plate (2). Discard locknuts. 7. Remove gasket (5) from plate (2). Replace if damaged. 8 . Rem ove two jamnuts (3 ) an d lo ckwash ers (4) from two elbo ws (1). Rem ov e elbo ws from p late ( 2). D iscard lo ckwashers. 0708 00-2 NOTE If only gasket is to be replaced, go to INSTALLATION Step 1.
