TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY AND SUPPORT BRACKET (M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0697 00 INSTALLATION 1. Position generator support bracket (8) on hull top. Secure with four screws (6) and new lockwashers (7). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 54-59 LB-FT (73-80 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench. WARNING Hanging loads, heavy parts, and overhead equipment can fall unexpectedly and kill or injure you. Stay clear of hanging loads, heavy parts, and overhead equipment. Use correct lifting devices. Always have helper guide heavy parts and equipment. 2. Using a suitable lifting device, install smoke generator on armor shield. 3 . Con nect glow plug cable (19) to preheat harness j ack (2 0) to panel ( 21) on smo ke generato r. 4. Connect fuel supply hose (5) to fuel supply connector (22) and fuel return hose (24) to fuel return connector (23). 5. Connect fog oil hose (9) to cover assembly connector (10). 6. Connect air hose (11) to cover assembly connector (12). 7. Connect electrical cable assembly (13) to cover connector 5J1 (14). 8. Slide generator on to s up port bracket (4 ). Have helper assist. 9. Secure generato r to support (4) with tw o scr ews (1 5), wedg es (16), f our washers ( 17), and two new lockn uts (1 8). 0697 00-5
