TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE M42 VENTILATED FACE MASK (VFM) HEATER — Continued 0694 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Location varies for heaters. Procedures in Step 1 cover the different mounting hardware. NOTE Apply corrosion preventive compound to all threaded fasteners. 1. Install VFM heater (13), four new locknuts (12), washers (11), new lockwashers (10), and screws (9). 2. Install hose assembly (7) and clamp (6) on adapter (8). Tighten clamp securely. 3. Install hose assembly (4) and clamp (3) on adapter (5). Tighten clamp securely. 4. Connect power lead (1) to heater jack (2). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground lead (WP 0294 00). END OF TASK 0694 00-2
