TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE M8A3/M14 AIR PURIFIER AND FRAME (M113A2 ONLY) — Continued 0689 00 REMOVAL WARNING Contaminated filters are hazardous to personnel. Use precautions when handling filters. Dispose of filters using trained chemical environment personnel. 1. Disconnect power cable (1) from air purifier (2). 2. For the M8A3 purifier, loosen two clamps (3) and remove two hoses (4) and clamps from air purifier (2). For the M14 purifier, loosen three clamps (3), and remove three hoses (4) and clamps from air purifier (2). 3. Unfasten latch (5) and lift air purifier (2) from frame assembly (6). 4. Remove five screws (7), ten washers (8), five locknuts (9), and frame assembly (6) from five mounts (10) and (11). Discard locknuts. 5. Remove 16 screws (12), 32 washers (13), 16 locknuts (14), and four mounts (10) from welded frame (15). Discard locknuts. 6. Remove ground wire lead (16). 7. Remove four screws (17), eight washers (18), four locknuts (19), and mount (11) from welded frame (20). Discard locknuts. 0689 00-2
