INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut (2) Lockwasher (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove circuit 579C lead (1) from air filter switch (2) on switch assembly (3). 2. Remove jumper lead (4) from air filter switch (2) and circuit breaker (5). 3. Remove circuit 579A lead (6) from circuit breaker (5). 4. Remove circuit 537F lead (7) from air filter ON lamp (8). 5. Remove two mounting screws (9), four lockwashers (10), two locknuts (11), and switch assembly (3) from instrument panel. Discard lockwashers and locknuts. 0686 00-1
