INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (8) Lockwasher P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Master switch panel assembly removed (WP 0224 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove screw (1), washer (2), and cable (3) from bus bar (4) in distribution box (6). 2. Disconnect cable (7) from control box (8). 3. Remove screw (9), lockwasher (10), and clamp (11) with cables (3) and (7) from weldnut. Remove clamp from cables. Discard lockwasher. 4. Remove four screws (12), eight lockwashers (13), and control box (8) from bracket (14). Discard lockwashers. 5. Remove four screws (15), washers (16), and cover (17) from control box (8). 6. Remove screw (18) and terminal of cable (3) on circuit breaker (19). Pull cable and grommet (20) from control box (8). 7. Install cover (17), four washers (16), and screws (15) on control box (8). 0675 00-1
