TM 9-2350-261-20-4 REPLACE COMMANDER’S CUPOLA ARMOR SHIELDS (M113A2, M1064, AND M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0663 00 REMOVAL NOTE Screws (16) and (20) are different lengths. Tag screws to ensure proper installation. 1. Remove screw (20) and washer (21) from first hole of each shield (12) and (15). 2. Remove four screws (16), washers (17), and lockwashers (18) from remaining holes in left and right shields (12) and (15). Discard lockwashers. 3. Remove two shields (12) and (15) from commander’s cupola (19). 4. Release four clips (13) and remove four doors (14) from two shields (12) and (15). 5. If damaged, remove clip (13) from door (14). 6. Remove strap (11) from loop on right shield (12) and clamp (22) mounted on machine gun mount bracket. 7. Remove clamp (22) from lower bracket of machine gun handle. 8. Remove chain (9) and door (10) from bracket (5). Remove chain from door. 9. Remove two screws (7), bracket (5), and spacer (6) from gun mount (8). 10. Remove locknut (4), plate (3), washer (2), screw (1), and bracket (5). Discard locknut. 0663 00-2
