INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 60) Locknut (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Trim vane lowered (see your -10) Power plant access door open (see your -10) Coolant heater and pump unit removed from carrier (WP 0650 00) Wiring harness removed (WP 0649 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen clamp (1). Remove hose (2) from elbow (3). 2. Remove two screws (4), four washers (5), two locknuts (6), retaining strap (7), and pump (8) from support bracket (9). Discard locknuts. 3 . Rem ove elb ow (3 ) from pum p (8 ). 4. Remove shutoff valve (10) from bushing (11). 0652 00-1 5. Remove bushing (11) from coolant pump (8).
