INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) Multimeter (WP 0780 00, Item 43) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut Lockwasher P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Trim vane lowered (see your -10) Power plant access door opened (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove screw (1) and circuit lead (2) from terminal 4 (3) of heater terminal strip (4). 2. Remove locknut (5), lockwasher (6), and ground lead (7) from coolant pump mount screw (8). Discard locknut and lockwasher. 3. Remove nut (9) and circuit 402B lead (2) from coolant pump terminal (10). 4. Remove nut (11) and ground lead (7) from coolant pump terminal (12). Remove wiring harness (13) from pump (14). 0649 00-1
