TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE PERSONNEL HEATER ASSEMBLY (ALL EXCEPT M1064) — Continued 0619 00 REMOVAL WARNING Exhaust fumes can poison you if wrong heater is installed. Do not interchange “common air” heater for a “dual air” heater. 1. Disconnect heater wiring harness (1) from heater (2). 2. Loosen clamp (3) on heater intake pipe (4). 3. Loosen clamp (5) on heater exhaust pipe (6). 4. Remove screw (7), two lockwashers (8), and ground strap (9) from heater (2). Discard lockwashers. 5. Remove heater fuel inlet hose (10) from fitting (11) on bulkhead. 6. Remove inlet hose (12) from elbow (13) on heater (2). 7. Remove elbow (13) from nipple (14). Remove nipple from heater (2). 8. Remove two screws (15), washers (16), lockwashers (17), and bracket (18) from bulkhead. Remove bracket, filter (19), and fuel hoses (10) and (12) from carrier. Discard lockwashers. 0619 00-2 NOTE Do Step 8 if heater fuel filter has been added to your carrier.
