INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lockwasher (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0294 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 400 lead (1) from heater control box lead (2). 2. Disconnect heater wiring harness (3) from heater control box (4). 3. Remove two screws (5) and control box (4) from control box case (6). 4. Remove two screws (7), case (6), and lockwashers (8) from hull weldnuts (9). Discard lockwashers. 0613 00-1
