TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE TEE CONNECTION TO FUEL PUMP HOSE (M981 ONLY) — Continued 0605 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Replacing a flareless fuel hose or tube assembly may also require new mating fittings such as a tee, elbow, or adapter. 1. Install tube (9) on tee (10) and tee (4). Tighten two nuts (8). 2. Install reducer (3) in tee (4). 3. Install hose (5) on tee (4). 4. Install fuel hose (1) on reducer (3) and fuel pump (2). 5. Secure hose (1) to hose (7) with strap (6). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Open engine fuel supply line shutoff valves (see your -10). 2. Connect battery ground lead (WP 0294 00). 3. Bleed fuel line (WP 0599 00). 4. Start heater (see your -10). Check all fittings for fuel leaks. Turn heater off. 5. Install rear floor plate (WP 0441 00). 6. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 7. Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0605 00-3/4 blank
