TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE BULKHEAD CONNECTION TO HEATER/FILTER SUPPLY HOSES (M113A2 AND M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0603 00 INSTALLATION WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. NOTE Replacing a flareless fuel hose or tube assembly may also require new mating fittings such as a tee, elbow, or adapter. 1. Apply a light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of external tapered threads. 2. Connect heater fuel supply hose (17) to fuel inlet elbow (18) on heater (19) and to elbow (20) on fuel filter outlet elbow (21). Tighten loose nuts. 3. Connect heater fuel filter supply hose (12) to sleeve (13) and nut (14) on power plant bulkhead and fuel shutoff valve inlet elbow (15) on valve (16). Tighten loose nuts. 4. Install sleeve (8), nut (9), elbow (10), and nut (11) on bulkhead and tube (5). 0603 00-4
