TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE RAMP CYLINDER — Continued 0593 00 1. Apply thin coat of adhesive to surfaces of boot (1) and cylinder (2). Allow adhesive to become tacky and install boot on cylinder. 2. Align cylinder (2) with hull bracket. Secure with clevis pin (3) and new cotter pin (4). 3. Install nut (5) and post (6) on cable (7). 4. Install nut (8) on cylinder rod (9). 5. Thread post (6) on cylinder rod (9). Secure with two nuts (5) and (8). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install breather hose (WP 0591 00 or WP 0592 00). 2. Connect ramp cylinder hose (WP 0590 00). WARNING Fire Resistant Hydraulic fluid (FRH) is toxic if absorbed through skin or ingested. Do not service hydraulic system when FRH is hot or pressurized. Wear gloves and avoid contact with skin. If FRH contacts skin, wash immediately with soap. If FRH gets into eyes, wash with lots of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. If FRH is swallowed, get medical attention. 3. Check fluid in tank. Add fluid as needed (WP 0120 00). 4. Start engine (see your -10). Check for hydraulic leaks. 0593 00-3
