TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE/REPAIR RAMP VISION PORT AND SHIELD (M901A1 AND M981 ONLY) — Continued 0571 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install door (20) and new preformed packing (21) on shield (8). 2. Lubricate shaft (17) lightly with grease. 3. Install two spacers (18), two springs (19), and one shaft (17) on shield (8). 4. Apply corrosion preventive compound to two screws (14). 5. Install two shims (16), clamps (15), and screws (14) on ramp hatch (9). WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. 6. Install vision block (13) in housing (5). Use sealing compound. 7 . App ly corro sion preventive com po und to fo ur screw s (10). 8. Install new gasket (12) and housing (5) on ramp hatch (9). Secure with four washers (11) and screws (10). 9 . App ly corro sion preventive com po und to fo ur screw s (6). 10. Install shield (8) on ramp hatch (9).
