INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Cotter pin (7) Locknut (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s WP 0120 00 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Personnel heater duct removed (WP 0617 00) REMOVAL 1. Unscrew seven T-bolts (1). Remove upper and lower panels (2) and (3). NOTE Remove seals only if damaged. 2. Bend back seal supports on panel to remove seals (4) and (5). 3. Remove seven cotter pins (6), T-bolts (1), washers (7), and clamps (8) from hull. Discard cotter pins. 4. Remove seven screws (9) and spacers (10) from hull. 5. Remove two locknuts (11), screws (12), and cover (13) from hull. Discard locknuts. 6. Remove four locknuts (14), screws (15), and support (16) from hull. Discard locknuts. 0431 00-1
