INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Cotter pins (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Rear floor plate removed (WP 0437 00) Wire rope disconnected from ramp cylinder (WP 0593 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove cotter pin (1), headed pin (2), and wire rope (3) from ramp mount bracket. Discard cotter pin. 2. Remove three cotter pins (4), headed pins (5), and pulleys (6) from pulley mount. Discard cotter pins. 3. Remove wire rope (3) from carrier. 0565 00-1
