TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE RAMP LOCK LEVER AND CABLE (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued 0562 00 7. Loosen two locknuts (1). Remove two joints (2) and locknuts (1) from cable (3). Discard locknuts. 8. Remove two seal assemblies (4) from cable (3). 9. Remove screw (5), lockwasher (6), and clamp (7) from forward bulkhead weldnut. Discard lockwasher. 10. Remove five nuts (8), screws (9), and clamps (7) from overhead rail. 11. Remove four nuts (10) on cable (3) and on seal assemblies (4) from two hull retainers. 12. Remove two nuts (10) and six clamps (7) from cable (3). CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR 1. Check cable. Replace parts that are cut, worn, binding, or have stripped threads. 2. Check ball joints. Replace joints that are binding or that have stripped threads. 3. Check ramp lock lever supports and arm. Remove scratches and grooves with fine sandpaper. Replace parts that are worn, cracked, or pitted. 0562 00-2
