TM 9-2350-261-20-3 ADJUST RAMP LOCK (M113A2, M901A1, AND M1059 ONLY) — Continued 0556 00 RAMP SEAL TEST WARNING Lowering ramp could injure personnel. Make sure no one is in ramp zone before you lower ramp. If tactical situation permits, sound horn before dropping ramp. 1. Lower ramp (see your -10). 2. Check ramp-to-hull seal. Replace cracked, worn, or torn seal (WP 0566 00). 3. If seal looks all right, apply a heavy coat of white chalk to sealing lip of ramp seal. 4. Raise and lock ramp. Unlock and lower ramp (see your -10). 5. Check ramp for chalk transfer from seal to ramp surface. 6. If chalk is not evenly distributed, do RAMP LOCK ADJUSTMENT Step 1. 7. If there is no chalk along bottom of ramp, replace seal (WP 0566 00). 0556 00-2
