TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPAIR HORIZONTAL AMMUNITION RACK (M1064 ONLY) — Continued 0508 00 CLEANING 1. Clean all parts of stowage rack. INSPECTION AND REPAIR 1. Inspect all metal parts for cracks, bends, or breaks. Repair minor defects. Replace parts that cannot be repaired. 2. Inspect webbing straps and door hooks for excessive wear, cuts, or fraying. Replace defective parts. ASSEMBLY NOTE Assemble each horizontal stowage rack without shims and straps outside the carrier. Do not tighten any mounting screws until after installation in the carrier. 1. Install two mortar wear bars (1) and (2) on lower stowage rack (3) with four washers (4), screws (14), and new locknuts (15). 2. Install upper stowage rack (6) on vertical posts (7) and (8) with two washers (9) and screws (10). 3. Install lower stowage rack (3) on vertical posts (7) and (8) with two washers (9) and screws (10). 4. Install four middle stowage racks (5) on vertical posts (7) and (8) with 16 washers (9) and screws (10). 5. Install five doors (11) and (12) on five stowage racks (3) and (5) with five hinge pins (13). 0508 00-4
