INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Spring pin (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic Helper (H) E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Release four straps (1). Remove tent (2) and straps from hull top plate. Have helper assist. 2. Remove nine screws (3), washers (4), retainer strip (5), and rubber strip (6) from hull top plate. 3. Remove two screws (7), washers (8), and spacers (9) from rear bulkhead. 4. Remove six spring pins (10), wing nuts (11), washers (12), and two retainer strips (13) from rear bulkhead.
