TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE/REPAIR COMMANDER’S PLATFORM AND POST (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued 0492 00 INSTALLATION 1. Hold platform lock in unlocked position and install platform (1) on post (2). 2. Align base (3) with post (2). Secure with two screws (4), washers (5), and new locknuts (6). 3. Install hook (7) on quick-release pin (8) and chain (9). Squeeze both ends of hook to secure. 4. Install tube (10) on chain (9). 5. Install hook (11) on chain (9) and hull top lug plate. Squeeze both ends of hook to secure. 6. Align link (12) with hull top plate brackets. Secure with screw (13), washer (14), and new locknut (15). 7. Place post (2) and platform (1) in carrier. Align post with link (12). Secure with quick-release pin (8). 8. Align base (3) with hull crossmember. Secure with two washers (16) and screws (17). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Start engine (see your -10). 2. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 3. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0492 00-5/6 blank
