TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE/REPAIR COMMANDER’S PLATFORM AND POST (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued 0492 00 DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove two cotter pins (1) from straight pin (2). Discard cotter pins. 2. Remove straight pin (2) and handle (3) from left mount (4). 3. Remove spring pin (5), stop pin (6), washer (7), and spring (8) from left mount (4). Discard spring pin. 4. Remove two locknuts (9), four washers (10), and rod (11) from platform (12). Discard locknuts. 5. Remove two locknuts (13), four washers (14), rod (15), and platform (12) from left mount (4), and right mount (16). Discard locknuts. 6. Remove locknut (17), washer (18), screw (19), catch (20), and spring (21) from platform (12). Discard locknut. 7. Remove two locknuts (22), screws (23), four washers (24), and two bumpers (25) from platform (12). Discard locknuts. 8. Remove locknut (26), screw (27), spring (28), and catch (29) from brace (30). Discard locknut. 9. Remove four locknuts (31), two screws (32), two screws (33), lugs (34), and spring (35) from left mount (4). Discard locknuts. 10. Remove three rollers (36) and spacers (37) from between left mount (4) and right mount (16). INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA 1. Inspect parts for corrosion, distortion, cracks, breaks, and loose or missing parts. Repair or replace damaged or missing parts. 0492 00-3
