TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE/REPAIR COMMANDER’S PLATFORM AND POST (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued 0492 00 REMOVAL 1. Remove two screws (1) and washers (2) from base (3). 2. Open both ends of hook (4). Remove hook (4) from hull top plate lug and chain (5). 3. Remove tube (6) from chain (5). 4. Open both ends of hook (7). Remove hook (7) from chain (5) and quick-release pin (8). 5. Remove locknut (9), washer (10), screw (11), and link (12) from hull top plate brackets. Remove post (13) and platform (14) from carrier. Discard locknut. 6. Remove pin (8) and link (12) from post (13). 7. Remove two locknuts (15), washers (16), screws (17), and base (3) from post (13). Discard locknuts. 8. Unlock platform lock and remove platform (14) from post (13). 0492 00-2
