INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Cotter pin (4) Locknut (6) Splined nut, as needed (8) Splined washer, as needed (8) Spring pin (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Commander’s seat removed from post (WP 0484 00 or WP 0485 00) DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove seat cushion (1). 2. Remove eight screws (2) and washers (3). Remove seat (4) from seat support (5). NOTE Remove splined nut(s) only if damaged. 3. If splined nuts (6) need to be replaced, drive old nuts out of seat (4). Discard nuts. 0487 00-1
