INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut Locknut Lockwasher Tablock washer (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Commander’s platform removed (WP 0491 00 or WP 0492 00) Rifle rack removed (WP 0493 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove two screws (1) and tablock washers (2) from base of post assembly (3). Discard tablock washers. 2. Remove locknut (4), washer (5), screw (6), and link (7) from hull top plate brackets. Discard locknut. 3. Remove seat and post (3) from carrier. 4. Remove locknut (8), washer (9), link (7), and screw (10) from post (3). Discard locknut. 5. Remove screw (11), lockwasher (12), and nut (13) from post (3). Discard lockwasher. 6. Unlock seat lock. Remove seat assembly (14) from post (3). 0485 00-1
