TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE SIDE ARMOR (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued 0474 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install armor plate (12) on deck. Secure with five washers (11), new lockwashers (10), and screws (9). 2. TIGHTEN FIVE SCREWS (9) TO 55-60 LB-FT (75-81 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench. 3. Install two brackets (6) on armor plate (2). Secure with two shoulder pins (8) and new spring pins (7). 4. Install two brackets (6) and armor plate (2) on deck. Secure with four washers (5), new lockwashers (4), and screws (3). 5. TIGHTEN FOUR SCREWS (3) TO 35-40 LB-FT (48-54 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench. 6. Install quick release pin (1) on armor plate (2). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Start engine (see your -10). 2. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 3. Stop engine (see your -10).
