TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE REAR COMPARTMENT AIR VENTILATOR — Continued 0471 00 REMOVAL NOTE 1. Remove three screws (1), cover (2), and three spacers (5) from hull mount. 2. Remove valve (4) and gasket (3) from cover (2). Discard gasket. 3. Remove three locknuts (8) and washers (9) securing three ventilator studs (10) in hull from inside personnel compartment. Remove ventilator cover with studs and valve (4). Discard locknuts. 4. Remove valve (4), two balls (7), and one spring (6) from cover (2). 5. Remove gasket (3) from valve (4). 6. Remove three studs (10) from cover (2). 0471 00-2 For late model compartment ventilator do Steps 1 - 2. For early model compartment ventilator do Steps 3 - 6.
