TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPLACE COMMANDER’S CUPOLA COVER (M113A2 AND M1064 ONLY) — Continued 0455 00 REMOVAL WARNING Falling hatch could seriously injure you. Keep head lower than closed hatch position when opening or closing hatch. Keep hands clear of hatch rim when closing. Make sure latch pin or mechanism is fully engaged when hatch is in any open position. 1. Remove two locknuts (1), washers (2), screws (3), and retainer (4) from cupola bracket. Discard locknuts. 2. Support cover (5). Remove 12 springs (6), shield (7), two fiber washers (8), and cover (5) from cupola. 3. Remove locknut (9) and screw (10) from cover (5). Discard locknut. 4. Pry up end of seal (11) and remove from cover (5). Discard seal. 0455 00-2
