TM 9-2350-261-20-3 REPAIR DRIVER’S HATCH (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued 0449 00 3. Replace rubber stop, see DISASSEMBLY Step 4. a. Place hatch in closed position. b. Remove stop (3) from yoke (4). c. Remove rubber stop (5) from stop (3). Discard rubber stop. Clean to bare metal. WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. d. Apply clear adhesive sealant evenly to mating surface of stop (3). Allow to dry at least 30 minutes. Apply second coat only when surface is dry to touch. e. Apply second coat of sealant evenly to mating surface of stop (3). Allow second coat of sealant to dry at least 20 minutes. Surface must be tacky to touch. f. Press new rubber stop (5) to stop (3), and apply pressure with a roller or other functional tool. g. Install stop (3) on yoke (4), see ASSEMBLY Step 11. 0449 00-10
