INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) Torque wrench adapter (WP 0780 00, Item 7) Torque wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 103) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Carrier on level surface Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Track disconnected (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Remove screw (1) and washer (2) from mount (3). 2. Remove screw (4) and washer (5) from shaft on idler arm. 3. Remove two screws (6) from mount (3). Loosen screw (7). Rotate mount and remove screw. 4. Pull track adjuster (8) down. Remove mount (3) from adjuster. 5. Remove adjuster (8) from shaft on idler arm. 6. Remove grease fitting (9) and relief valve (10) from adjuster (8). 0378 00-1
