TM 9-2350-261-20-2 REPLACE ROAD WHEEL SUPPORT ARM, BEARINGS, AND SEALS — Continued 0374 00 CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPLACE 1. Check fittings and relief valve for wear and damage. Replace if needed. 2. Inspect bearings. See TM 9-214. Replace if needed. INSTALLATION 1. If removed, install two bearings (10) in housing (6). Use replacer. WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. NOTE Make sure shoulders on bearings point toward center of housing. 2. Coat threads of relief valve (12) and lubrication fitting (11) with sealing compound. Install valve and fitting in support arm (7). 3. Put light coat of grease on bearing surface of support arm (7) and cork-rubber face of new seal (8). Place spacer (9) and seal (8), with pins facing housing (6), on shaft of support arm. 4. Install support arm (7) in housing (6). Align pins on seal (8) with holes in housing. 0374 00-3
