INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) Pipe Wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 93) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 65) Locknut Preformed packing (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 WP 0120 00 WP 0318 00 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Trim vane lowered (see your -10) Power plant front access door open (see your -10) Hull bottom access cover removed (WP 0434 00) REMOVAL 1. Drain differential oil into suitable container (WP 0120 00). 2. Remove differential high oil temperature switch (WP 0318 00). 3. Disconnect differential oil hose quick disconnect coupling (1). 4. Disconnect differential oil hose (2) from elbow (3). 5. Remove elbow (3) from quick disconnect coupling half (4). 6. Remove quick disconnect coupling half (5) and preformed packing (6) from elbow (7). Discard packing. 7. Remove elbow (7), nut (8), retainer (9), and preformed packing (10) from differential oil pump (11). Discard packing. 8. Remove locknut (12), screw (13), washer (14), clamp (15), and differential oil hose (2) from hull crossbeam. Discard locknut. 0358 00-1 Suitable Container
