Move carrier to gain access to remaining screws. 1. Remove eight screws (1) and washers (2) from universal joints (3). Pry universal joints loose and slide yoke (4) into final drive (5). Discard screws. 2. Remove propeller shaft (6) with universal joints (3) from carrier. 3. Position propeller shaft (6) in vise. Remove eight screws (7) and washers (8) from universal joints (3) and shaft. Discard screws. 0348 00-1
