TM 9-2350-261-20-2 REPLACE OIL COOLER TO TRANSMISSION HOSE AND FITTINGS — Continued 0339 00 INSTALLATION WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. 1. Apply a thin, even coat of sealing compound to cleansed external threads of fittings before installation. 2. Install valve (1) in elbow (2). 3. Install new preformed packing (3) on elbow (2). 4. Install elbow (2) in transmission (4). Tighten jamnut (5) on elbow (2). Use adjustable wrench. 5. Connect hose (6) to two elbows (2) and (7). 6. Install hose (6) and hose (8) on bracket (9). Secure with clamp (10), screw (11), and new locknut (12). 7. Install hose (6) and hose (8) on transmission. Secure with two clamps (13), screw (14), and new key washer (15). 0339 00-3
