TM 9-2350-261-20-2 REPLACE TRANSMISSION TO OIL COOLER HOSE AND FITTINGS — Continued 0338 00 INSTALLATION WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. 1. Apply a thin, even coat of sealing compound to external threads of fittings before installation. 2. Install new preformed packing (1) on elbow (2). Tighten jamnut (3). Use adjustable wrench. 3. Install elbow (2) in transmission (4). 4. Install bushing (5) in oil cooler (6). Use pipe wrench. 5. Install tee (7) on bushing (5). 6. Install elbow (8) on tee (7). 7. Install transmission high oil temperature switch (9) in tee (7). 8. Connect circuit 327 lead (10) to switch (9). 9. Connect hose (11) to elbow (2) and elbow (8). 0338 00-3
