INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Locknut (3) E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Driver’s rear floor plate removed (WP 0439 00) Personnel heater floor duct removed (WP 0617 00) Left front floor plate removed (WP 0437 00, WP 0438 00, and WP 0441 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove three locknuts (1), six washers (2), and three screws (3) from hull cross beam (4). Discard locknuts. 2. Remove valve (5) from beam. Inspect valve. INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA 1. Check valve, housing, and fittings for cracks, leaks, and wear. Replace if needed. 0324 00-1
