INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 66) Sodium bicarbonate (WP 0782 00, Item 70) Grommet (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Batteries removed (WP 0303 00) Carrier cooling system drained (WP 0193 00) Coolant heater system drained (WP 0639 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen two clamps (1) on two hoses (2). Remove hoses from heat exchanger (3). Remove clamps from hoses. 2. Remove heat exchanger (3) from battery box (6). Remove clamps from heat exchanger. 3. Remove two grommets (7) from battery box (6). Discard grommets. 0310 00-1
