TM 9-2350-261-20-2 REPLACE BATTERY LEADS (M1064 ONLY) — Continued 0300 00 WARNING Gas from batteries can explode. Ventilate compartment before you disconnect or connect battery cables. Battery acid can burn or blind you. Do not get acid on your skin or eyes. ALWAYS disconnect ground lead (circuit 7) first and connect it last. NOTE Use battery terminal puller to remove terminal lugs and leads from battery post. 2. Remove circuit 7 lead (2) as follows: a. Remove nut (3) and circuit 7 lead (2) from screw (4) on terminal lugs (5). b. Remove nut (6), screw (7), two washers (8), and lead (2) from hull mount. Remove lead and grommet (9) from battery compartment. Discard grommet. 0300 00-2
