Ventilate compartment before you disconnect or connect battery cables. Battery acid can burn or blind you. Do not get acid on your skin or eyes. ALWAYS disconnect ground lead (circuit 7) first and connect it last. WARNING Battery posts and cables touched by metal objects can short circuit and burn you. Do not wear jewelry, necklaces, or watches when working on the electrical system. Keep tools away from posts, wires, and terminals. 0294 00-1
