INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Gasket Grommet (12) Lockwasher, as needed N on-electrical wire, as need ed (WP 078 2 00, Item 40 ) Locknut (8) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) FAX removed (TM 11-7010-256-12&P) Access to batteries (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Rear floor plate removed (WP 0436 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 29 lead (1) from right fuel quantity sending unit (2). 2. Remove lockwire (3), screw (4), lockwasher (5), and ground lead (6) from sending unit (2). Discard lockwire and lockwasher. 3. Remove three screws (7), two lockwashers (8), flat washer (9), ground lead (6), three clamps (10), and circuit 29 lead (1) from three weldnuts (11).
