INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Gasket Lockwasher (6) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Carrier blocked (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Remove four screws (1) and lockwashers (2). Pull guard (3), with stoplight/taillight (4) attached, away from hull. Discard lockwashers. 2. Disconnect circuit 21 lead (5), circuit 22 lead (6), and circuit 24 lead (7) from taillight leads (8). 3. Remove two screws (9), lockwashers (10), taillight (4), and gasket (11) from guard (3). Discard gasket and lockwashers. 0263 00-1
