TM 9-2350-261-20-2 REPAIR BLACKOUT MARKER LIGHT 0259 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Gasket Light bulb, as needed P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) DISASSEMBLY 1. Loosen two screws (1). Remove door (2) and gasket (3) from light body (4). Discard gasket. 2. Push in on bulb (5) and turn counterclockwise. Remove bulb from body (4). CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR 1. Check lens in door. Replace blackout marker door assembly if lens is cracked or chipped. 2. Check bulb. Use multimeter. Replace bad bulb. 3. Check body. Replace blackout marker light if any part is missing or damaged (WP 0258 00). 0259 00-1 Disassembly (page 0259 00-1). Clean, Inspect, and Repair (page 0259 00-1). Assembly (page 0259 00-2).
