INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s Digital Multimeter (WP 0780 00, Item 43) General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s TM 9-6140-200-14 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) ADJUSTMENT NOTE Check batteries to make sure they are fully charged. See TM 9-6140-200-14. 1. Remove access screw (1) from regulator (2). 2. Start engine and allow to run for about 20 minutes with service headlights on (see your -10). 3. Turn off service headlights (see your -10). 4. Set multimeter to read voltage on the 50 V dc scale. 5. Remove receptacle cap (3). 0229 00-1
