NOTE This task is for fuel tank temporary repair only. Repair is not feasible in temperatures below +40 F (+4 C). Best results are obtained if temperature is between 75 and 90 F (24 and 32 C). 1. Clean 3– 4 inches (8–10 cm) around repair area. Use a wire brush, steel wool, or emery cloth. 2. Clean area with cleaning solvent. Dry area with a clean cloth. 3. Reinforce small repair area with clean cloth or adhesive tape. 4.
